History

The story of Ginger begins in 1924, when my great-grandfather Alberto Meier opened his first goldsmith’s workshop in Via Sant’Eufemia in Milan.

After the Great War, my grandparents Warner and Carla Meier expanded the family business with the distribution of jewelry and participating in the most important trade fairs in Italy and abroad, transforming the laboratory into a well-known and appreciated company.

Over the years, my father Alberto has carried on the family tradition and has added the two Ginger stores to distribution.

My real entry into the world of work is not to be considered when my father at the fairs presented me dressed as a pageboy. But rather, at the age of 18, driven by the desire to continue the family tradition.

Even today, our company is a family business. Our collaborators work passionately, alternating in tasks and roles, as only in family businesses can be done, always giving enthusiasm to this wonderful journey that began more than a hundred years ago.
